ResMed
Product Code : 38113
Brand : ResMed
Availability:
The ResMed AirMini is one of the most compact auto-adjusting CPAPs available — 5.4" × 3.3" × 2" and 0.66 lbs. Built as a travel-first device rather than a downsized home machine, it delivers full AutoSet therapy and waterless HumidX humidification in a package that fits in a coat pocket.
One important note: the AirMini only connects to specific ResMed mask models (AirFit P10, N20, F20, F30, and a few others), each requiring its own adapter. If your current mask isn't compatible, switching is part of the purchase. Prescription required.

Product Description
The ResMed AirMini is a specialized auto-adjusting travel CPAP engineered to provide full-size clinical therapy in a 0.66-pound footprint. It sits in a distinct category, prioritizing extreme portability while utilizing the identical AutoSet algorithms powering the full-size AirSense 11.
Proven AirSense 11 Therapy Algorithms
The compact size does not limit therapy quality. The device features the exact same pressure adjustments found in ResMed's flagship bedside units, including AutoSet, AutoSet for Her, AutoRamp, and SmartStart. It responds to flow limitations, snoring, and apneas with the same clinical precision as a standard home machine.
Waterless Humidification
The AirMini eliminates the traditional water chamber. It uses the HumidX heat-moisture exchange system to capture and reuse the patient's exhaled moisture. This keeps therapy air comfortable without requiring distilled water or presenting a spill risk during transport. Each HumidX insert lasts 30 days.
Bluetooth Data Integration
The system bypasses physical SD cards completely. Nightly therapy data syncs directly to a smartphone via Bluetooth using the AirMini App. Users can view AHI, leak rates, usage hours, and pressure trends on demand.
Required Mask Ecosystem
The AirMini does not use standard 22mm CPAP tubing. It connects exclusively to specific ResMed mask models, including the AirFit P10, N20, F20, and F30. Each compatible mask requires a dedicated AirMini adapter.
For patients requiring travel mobility without sacrificing treatment quality, the AirMini provides core ResMed therapy in a highly portable design.

Key Features of the AirMini Travel CPAP
- Incredibly Small: The AirMini is one of the most compact CPAP device available, measuring just 5.4" x 3.3" x 2" and weighing only 0.66 lbs. It's perfect for frequent travelers or anyone who needs a portable CPAP solution.
- Rx Required: Use our Complimentary Rx Renewal (click here) or follow confirmation email instructions to send over your Rx after checkout.
- AutoRamp Technology: This feature detects when you've fallen asleep and adjusts the pressure automatically, providing the lowest possible pressure while you're awake. Once you’re asleep, the pressure increases to the optimal therapy level, ensuring comfort throughout the night.
- HumidX HME System: The AirMini's HumidX feature uses heat moisture exchange to keep your airways from drying out. The disposable humidification system lasts for 30 days, requiring minimal maintenance.
- SmartStart Function: With SmartStart, your AirMini activates automatically as soon as it detects your breathing, eliminating the need to manually turn the device on.
- Bluetooth Connectivity: The AirMini connects to the AirMini App via Bluetooth, providing real-time data on your therapy. You’ll receive a comprehensive nightly report, allowing you to monitor the effectiveness of your CPAP treatment.
- AutoSet and AutoSet for Her Modes: The AirMini offers both standard AutoSet and AutoSet for Her modes, ensuring customized therapy based on your specific needs.
Expert Breakdown of the AirMini Travel CPAP
CPAPmyway founder Clay Rollyson breaks down the AirMini based on extensive hands-on testing, highlighting its unique combination of extreme portability and home-unit durability:
- Extreme Portability: Weighs 0.66 pounds and fits easily into a pocket or carry-on bag.
- Home-Unit Performance: Utilizes the exact same AutoSet algorithms as the flagship AirSense 11 bedside machine.
- Primary Capability: Features a five-year expected lifespan, making it durable enough for everyday, primary use.
- Noise Level: Ranks as the quietest travel CPAP motor on the market. Users will notice minor exhalation sound from the HumidX waterless humidifier near the face, but the machine itself remains exceptionally quiet.
- The Universal Adapter Hack: Overcomes the machine's biggest drawback. Out of the box, the AirMini connects to only five specific ResMed masks. Attaching an aftermarket universal adapter bypasses this restriction, allowing the machine to connect to standard 22-millimeter tubing and any preferred CPAP mask on the market.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, with a battery accessory. The AirMini accepts 12V DC power, and several third-party battery packs are designed specifically for it. Run time depends on your prescribed pressure, but most users get one to two nights per charge from a standard CPAP battery.
Correct. The HumidX HME (Heat-Moisture Exchange) system humidifies therapy air using your own exhaled moisture instead of a water tank. It clips into the mask tubing and lasts about 30 days before needing replacement. There's no chamber to fill, no distilled water to pack, and no risk of spillage in luggage.
Call us at 844-289-4789 and you'll talk to a US-based CPAP specialist — not a script reader. We'll walk you through machine setup, troubleshoot mask leaks, and help you get the most out of your therapy. We also offer a 30-day mask refit guarantee — if the mask you ordered isn't working out, we'll help you find one that does. Support is included for as long as you own the equipment.
We're a self-pay supplier and don't bill insurance directly. We do accept HSA and FSA cards at checkout (will need to checkout as "guest" and not be logged into your Shop account), and we can provide an itemized receipt if you'd like to submit for out-of-network reimbursement on your own.

Yes. The AirMini is FAA-approved and permitted by TSA. Because CPAP machines are medical devices, they do not count toward your airline carry-on limit. Bring the machine through security in its travel bag. For standard screening, you must remove the device from the bag and place it in a bin for the X-ray.Passengers with TSA PreCheck may leave the machine packed.TSA agents may also swab the device during screening.
I tried to use this Machine, it was very loud every time I exhaled, so I would be unable to sleep listening to every breath.
Love it
