AirSense 11 CPAP Features

  • 3 models in one CPAP: The AirSense 11 includes the AutoSet Auto CPAP algorithm, Fixed pressure CPAP, and AutoSet for her Auto CPAP Algorithm. All in one device. 
  • Simple Touchscreen: No more clicking and twisting. The user friendly touchscreen makes navigation of the menu extremely simple. It is a forward-facing screen so you can see it from your bed. 
  • Over-the-air communication: Much like all the other modern devices in your home, the AirSense 11 can now update itself automatically. No need for SD cards or taking your CPAP back to the supplier. 
  • Smart Heated Humidifier System: The integrated heated humidifier on the Air11 allows you to control the setting manually or set to automatic climate control. 
  • AutoRamp: This feature allows the CPAP user to fall asleep at a lower pressure and then increases the pressure to the prescribed level after the user falls asleep. 
  • Expiratory Pressure Relief (EPR): The EPR feature on the AirSense 11 reduces the CPAP pressure when you exhale so that you can breath easier. 

Setting up Your AIrSense 11 CPAP

  1. Unbox and Assemble: Remove the AirSense 11 from its travel bag and place it on a flat, level surface near your bed. Connect the power supply cord into the rear of the device and plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet.
  2. Prepare the Humidifier: Gently pull the humidifier water tub from the side of the machine. Open the lid and fill it with distilled water up to the max fill line, then slide it back into the device until you hear a firm click.
  3. Connect the Tubing: Attach the end of your air tubing (either SlimLine or ClimateLineAir heated tubing) to the outlet connector at the rear of the machine. Connect the other end of the tube firmly to your CPAP mask.
  4. Navigate the Touchscreen: Use the intuitive color touchscreen to browse the "My Options" menu. From here, you can adjust comfort settings like Humidification Level, EPR, and Ramp Time to suit your personal preferences.
  5. Start Therapy: Put on your mask and ensure it fits comfortably without leaks. Press the Start/Stop button on top of the machine, or simply breathe into your mask if the SmartStart feature is enabled, and your therapy will begin immediately.

I have been using Capp since 2011. This is my third Resmed cpap. I am also a respiratory therapist. As a clinician I always prefer the Resmed brand units. As a user of cpap the resmed cpap is easy to use and is very durable.
Both of my older machines are still in use as backup or at my second home.

Had the AirSense 10 and it lasted 5 years. Upgraded to the 11 when the 10 motor went out. It has been super quiet and great.

I rate the CPAPmyway customer service and quick response a 5 - couldn’t be happier. I rate the AirSense 11 CPAP at only a 3 - it would be higher, but I have problems activating menu items on the touch screen. I would MUCH RATHER have real knobs to turn or buttons to push.

Wanted to use the new

Wanted to use the new machine for a period of time before responding. I love it; it is a wonderful machine, and I can easily rate at a 5! Still getting use to the water chamber, which seems to be lighter and less sturdy than the Airsense 10 water chamber. It has slipped out of my hand twice, but thankfully, no damage. Have had no problems with connecting to MyAir or with the blue tooth. I really like the touch screen and ease of use. Just returned from a long weekend trip; traveling was easy. With the slightly smaller case, it fit in my baggage whereas the Airsense 10 required me to carry separately. Overall and thus far, a great improvement over the Airsense 10.

I love my Airsense 11

I love my Airsense 11 CPAP by Resmed. This machine is superior to Phillips Respironics. It starts me at a low pressure, allowing me to fall asleep, and then it increases the pressure slowly. I'm able to sleep 4 hours in a row, without waking up, due to the pressure. I can touch the screen, and get all the information I need, and the app is great!! You are great too, providing me with supplies as quick as I order. Thank you!

I am most pleased to rate my machine a 5+!!! It is very quiet and I especially like the auto on/off features when putting on and taking off my mask. The humidifier is very easy to refill. The clamshell design of the humidifier tank makes it extremely easy to clean. I downloaded the myAir app to track my results. It is a very informative app. My only suggestion is I would like to better understand how they arrive at the various scorings. I would also like to have definitions and acceptable levels on the various sleep measurements that a clinician or sleep doctor would normally download and review. Unless you already have a video on these, perhaps it might be good subject matter for a future video.
