  • FDA 510(k) Cleared for Home Use: The Paptizer 360 went through the FDA 510(k) clearance process as an adjunct for reducing bacterial populations on home-use CPAP mask cushions. It's an over-the-counter device for single-patient home use, so no prescription is needed to order.
  • Lab-Tested 99% Bacterial Reduction: In vitro testing demonstrated a 2-log (99%) reduction after one complete 30-minute cycle against six bacteria commonly found on CPAP equipment: Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli (E. coli), Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Streptococcus pyogenes.
  • Picks Up Where Washing Leaves Off: Daily washing with mild soap and water removes facial oils, debris, and residue, but washing alone may not remove every microscopic bacterium. The Paptizer 360 adds a second step after you wash, without replacing your mask manufacturer's cleaning routine.
